The pots

A short list of forms, made well.

We don't keep a catalogue. These are the pieces that are usually on the shelf — what's available depends on the last firing. Come by the studio to see and hold what's there now.

Bowl

Rice bowl

The everyday bowl, trimmed light, in ash-grey or warm white. Stacks four deep. The one we make most.

Bowl

Noodle bowl

Wider and deeper, for udon and ramen, with a generous foot so it sits steady when full.

Plate

Stacking plate

A flat-rimmed plate in three sizes that nest together. The celadon pools a little darker at the rim.

Tea

Yunomi cup

A tall tea cup without a handle, sized for two hands in winter. Celadon over a sanded foot.

Tea

Small teapot

A side-handled kyusu for one or two, thrown in two parts with a fitted lid and a cut spout.

Serving

Oval dish

A shallow serving dish, thrown round and gently pressed oval while soft, for a shared table.

Every piece is thrown and glazed by hand, so colour and size vary a little from one to the next. We think that's the point. Pieces are not sold online — only from the studio.
